This has been a bit of a hectic week, with a goodbye lunch with new friends:
(They had cake for me at the Centre for Migration Studies too...but I don't have pictures of that)
One last ramble around my daily walking route at the Ulster American Folk Park:
(Photos of flowers just for you, Mama)
Laundry Day:
Packing:
(Johanne's Thank-You gift seems to have snuck into this photo)
and one last epic battle with the vaccuum:
I may also have spent a large part of the week trying to finish a fabulous novel Johanne lent me:
(Word to the wise: It's not good to obsessively read an enthralling novel about vampires at bedtime)
So that's it from me here! Thanks so much to everyone who has made the past few months so wonderful! I can't wait to come back again, and brag to you all about the joys of the Mediterranean!
And for those of you following at home: I'll post again from Barcelona on Sunday, where hopefully Irene and I will be getting ready to check out of our hotel and board our cruise ship. I say hopefully, because as I type, Irene is in flight limbo, delayed in Texas and in danger of missing connecting flights. Let's keep our fingers crossed for her, shall we?
-K-
P.S. For the first time, spellcheck found NO errors in my entry! Woohoo!
